Michelin Defender Tire Review

This is one Michelin’s newest standard car and minivan tires. This tire was ranked #1 in the Standard Touring All Season Tire category out of 22 models. It was rated the best in Corning Stability and Ride Comfort as well as Dry Traction.

The Michelin Defender provides you with peace of mind, even in difficult driving conditions. The 3D sipes, the small grooves on the tire that you can see in more detail by clicking the image to the right, give you excellent traction and control in any weather condition. The 3D sipe technology is new and has been used in many Michelin tires. It allows for traction in snow and icy conditions.

Our test showed that lower rolling resistance resulted in a 2 mpg increase in fuel efficiency. This isn’t much but it can add up over time. Michelin estimates that the tire will last for 250 miles and save drivers around $250. This tire is much more resilient than low rolling resistance tires, which have less contact with the road. The tires were able to withstand acceleration, braking and cornering with great traction.

Conclusion:
These are the most affordable Standard All Season tires available. Although the price is slightly higher than other tires in its category, it’s well worth the extra money. The tire will last twice as long than similar models and it has superior handling, traction and performance. You get what you pay in this instance.

The tire is compatible with 93% of the market for tire sizes. The price of a tire starts at $90 and goes up depending on its size. This is a great value for such high-performing tires.
